Watercolor Tutorial V2 by Tsuchan Watercolor Tutorial V2 by Tsuchan
Watercolor Tutorial V1: [link]

This version is longer than the old one. The reason I made this originally was because people wanted to know how I watercolored. I'm not a professional or anthing, this is just the way I do it.
This tutorial is also assumes you just have watercolors and nothing extra (no masking, white paint, acrylics, etc.).

They were just there as witnesses.

Actually, I think those yams are still in the cabinet, which is kind of scary considering how long they were there before the tutorial.

I'm not sure..at least a year or two, but it's gone now! I don't know if it was thrown away or what.

Doesn't "opaque" mean "absolutely not clear"...?

*2 years later*
Typo fixed.
It's now semi-opaque.

Kind of. At least, less clear than something like normal watercolors.

But you wrote "Watercolors are opaque which means they are partially 'clear'" which to me is a complete oxymoron...

I didn't know how to say it.. T_T
It's just when you talk about opaque watercolors, they are semi-clear most of the time, as in partially clear, but not as thick as oil paint or acrylic.

Thanks!
I know what you mean. I searched for watercoloring tutorials here and there weren't many. I really wish there were so I could see how others paint.
