Betty Boop Primrose

Quick concept drawing. I'm trying out some different stylizations for my characters.

I watches some Betty Boop shows and modeled this sketch of Primrose after the Betty "attitude". I gave her the Betty lips more than anything, though a lot of the features I give to my characters tend to already be very Betty Boop-esque to begin with.

This is a stylization I might develop more in the future. The coloring is not my usual style, but I was just using for quick color. I'm also testing out some fur drawing techniques and pressure brushes.

Also, I just realized the color palate I chose in this piece is the same as the colors I chose for a quilt I made. I guess that shows where my color tastes are.
