New Orleans Dinner

Journal Entry: Tue May 13, 2008, 6:44 PM
  • Mood: dA Love
  • Listening to: OC Supertones
  • Reading: Swiss Family Robinson
  • Watching: people's art
  • Playing: HMDS Cute
.. so I submitted New Orleans Dinner and I can't help but think about that crazy alligator on All Dogs Go To Heaven (one of my favorite movies of all time). You know, the one that sings and dances around with Charlie?
My drawing is like his brother or something. It's just that after I colored my drawing it REALLY reminds me of All Dogs Go to Heaven despite the fact they don't look at all the same. It must be the theme of my drawing more than anthing, but when I look at it I get "Let's Make Music Together" stuck in my head (You may know the song if you are awesome...)

Ps: It's the Grand Chawhee's birthday! :ninja:
---------------------------------------------------------------

I really want to get working on another art piece, but I have to come up with something I WANT to work on. I started sketching a Fennec Fox girl because I'm kind of tired of drawing people, but I can't get her look right. I'm going back to what I drew when I was little: Animals (cartoon ones) because...I just need to do something else.
I'm not stopping drawing people completely but I'm just..bored with it.
----------------------------------------------------------------

I'm currently playing Harvest Moon DS CUTE. It's kind of like Wonderful Life for Gamecube but there are different features and you get a wide range of bachelors if you have More Friends of Mineral Town for GBA (Which I DO!!) so it's cool.
A new Taiko no Tastsujin came out too and my brother bough it the day it came out but I didn't have enough money with me! I have the first one for DS but I want the new one too because it's so addicting and fun. I like it better than Guitar Hero (if you compare it to the arcade version of Taiko).

I can't wait for those people to leave the show and go home and look in the mirror to find that they don't have a face left because it got melted off by shredding rock guitar!

No problem. It was a really great shot and I like black and white photography. I like the kind of sepia-tone look it has to it.

Have you seen that one yet? It's hillarious... I almost can't believe it. But the guy's description makes it believable.

Yeah... the box thing was weird. At one point they showed the curve going backwards from what they had said earlier... and I don't get why.

That's pretty cool. It's SO similar to what my dad showed me when he tried to teach me how to draw hands.
The way they draw the hand with a box and the fingers is what I do..it just looks awful when I do it.

 It's like.. I get how to do it..but can't. :faint:

This hand tutorial shows pretty well a few of the things I learned by doing what I do best: see and analyze. I had to look at a lot of different Gure pics (and other people's too, bust mostly hers) to figure this all out ^.^ Have fun!

Thanks! I just re-sized the earthsuit one and put it back up. It was way too big to fit in the ID slot before!
